TUSCALOOSA -- Alabama hit the practice field for its final day in full pads in preparation for Colorado State. Here are some takeaways:-- Right guard Anthony Steen was back with the first offensive line group. Steen was limited during Tuesday's practice. Tide coach Nick Saban said Steen was "probable" to play against Colorado State.-- Wide receiver Kevin Norwood and cornerback Deion Belue rode stationary bikes and wore black, non-contact jerseys. Saban said both were "questionable" to play against Colorado State. With Wednesday being the team's last day in full pads, it is unlikely either will play against Colorado State. -- As the media's viewing period was ending, Geno Smith was seen working with the first team at the "star" position. Jarrick Williams lined up at "star" on Tuesday.
-- Cyrus Jones and Bradley Sylve were the two cornerbacks. John Fulton continued to watch.
-- The four freshmen running backs continued to wear scout team numbers. Derrick Henry and Alvin Kamara wore No. 6, which belongs to Colorado State running back Chris Nwoke. Altee Tenpenny and Tyren Jones wore No. 7, which belongs to Rams running back Donnell Alexander.
-- Parker McLeod and Cooper Bateman are the two scout team quarterbacks. Both wore No. 18, which belongs to Rams quarterback Garrett Grayson. Bateman already wears No. 18. Neither made the trip to College Station for Alabama's game against Texas A&M. Up next: Tide coach Nick Saban and select players will address reporters following practice. The Tide will practice in shells (shorts, shoulder pads and helmets) on Thursday before having a walk through on Friday.
