The Tide and the Irish don’t play until Jan. 7 — 11 days from today. In total, that’s almost six weeks.
Or, to put it in perspective, enough time to play half of the Southeastern Conference’s regular season.
So here we sit, watching the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl and the Belk Bowl and the Meineke Car Care Bowl, ticking off December days and fighting a football fan’s apathy.
What a system we have.
