The Cheaha Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association is offering four scholarships totaling $6,000. Four of the scholarships are funded through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund. Two scholarships for $2,000 each are designated for junior, senior or graduate level students in August 2013, attending Jacksonville State University. Two additional scholarships for $1,000 each are designated for students attending Gadsden State community College in August 2013.
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must be women who are U.S. citizens and residents of Calhoun or Talladega County; have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale; and the field of study is not specified.
