A woman on Friday reported finding a bullet hole in a window at her home, Anniston police said today.

The 56-year-old homeowner told police she was doing yard work at her home on the 600 block of Brentwood Drive when she noticed the hole in her window, Sgt. Chris Sparks said. Upon further investigation, the woman discovered a bullet near the window, the sergeant said.

A police report states the bullet caused $510 worth of damage.

Police recovered the projectile and are still investigating the incident, Sparks said.
