Silvia Moore of Emporium, Pa., and Ben and May Moore of Anniston announce the engagement of their daughter, Johanna Jackson, to Robert Byers, son of Don and Toni Ridley of Anniston.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Christa and Walter Frank of Emporium, Pa.; Juanita Moore of Anniston and the late Almon Coleman Moore Jr.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Austell Cowley Jr. of Ventura, Calif.; Stephanie Martin of Surprise, Ariz., and Steve and Debbie Reaves of Weaver.

The wedding will be 4:30 p.m. Oct. 23, 2013, in Munford.
