Tysel Kejaun Safford, 28, of Anniston was charged with first-degree robbery, a felony, on Thursday, according to Sgt. Chris Sparks.
Sparks said a 56-year-old man told police a man he knew only as an acquaintance was in his home on the 2000 block of Leighton Avenue on Jan. 25 when he pointed a gun at him and stole $65.
The victim identified Stafford as the suspect through a photo-lineup, Sparks said.
Safford was in the Anniston City Jail Friday morning, the sergeant said. Bond is set at $25,000 and a court date for Safford is scheduled for April 18.
