It's common knowledge that Auburn's Canine Detection Training Center is one of the gems of the redeveloped McClellan. The dogs trained at Anniston's former Army post are renowned for their talent and now work in all sorts of law enforcement and military roles across the globe.

After the Boston Marathon bombings earlier this month, CNN came to Anniston to film a rather-lengthy piece on the dogs and their training. They even ventured south to Oxford and filmed one of the Auburn dogs in action at Quintard Mall.

It's interesting, however, that Randi Kaye, the CNN reporter, never mentioned Anniston, Oxford or McClellan until she signed off at the end of the report. So much for our 15 minutes of fame.
