COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Jacksonville State's softball doubleheader today was rained out. It was to be the final day of the regular season for the Gamecocks.

JSU (26-25, 11-11 Ohio Valley Conference) finishes the regular season tied with the Golden Eagles (22-26, 11-11) in the league standings. Both will participate in the OVC tournament this week in Charleston, Ill., beginning Wednesday. Their seeds, opponents and gametimes will be released later today.
