While the adults have our “Monday Manna” on Monday nights, the youth have their special meetings as well at 6:30 p.m. Come and be a part
This past Sunday we were blessed by Carrie Champion with a special song called “My Anchor Holds.” We also had a special song from Sister Alicia. Pastor Vickey Davis continued her series on “The Field Trip” comparing our lives to a field. God wants to grow our lives to be a beautiful garden, full of fruit. To do this, he has to prepare our ground. He takes his chosen instruments to dig out the roots of harmful things (the weeds) that could choke out the chosen plants. He is making us more useful and more accessible. wants to get us to the place where our treasures can be shone. When the storms of life comes, it can make us bitter or better. Don’t let the little things spoil the vine. Root out the resentment, envy, jealousy, covetness, bitterness, and let him dig out the roots so that it never grows back. The quicker we get free from the bad roots and let him clear our garden, the quicker we can get to the purpose for our lives. He has a great plan for each of us.
