With Harbin picking up her third win and third complete game of the tournament, sixth-seeded JSU beat fourth-seeded Murray State 2-1, which put the Gamecocks into Sunday's championship round.
JSU (29-25), which is unbeaten in the double-elimination tournament, will play the losers' bracket winner at 11:30 a.m. If the Gamecocks lose that one, the two teams will play a winner-take-all final 30 minutes afterward.
On Saturday, Harbin pitched all seven innings, striking out six and allowing five hits. She gave up one run in the third inning and was challenged only once after that. In the fifth, Murray State loaded the bases through a walk and two errors and had no outs. Harbin and her defense got out of the inning with no runs.
The Gamecocks got both of its runs in the bottom of the third inning. Krystal Ruth doubled to start the inning. Jessica Guy followed with another double to score Ruth, advancing to third base on the throw home. Sara Borders' flyout brought home Guy.
Harbin (16-13) has pitched all 23 of JSU's innings in the tournament. She has allowed 16 hits and three earned runs and struck out 30 batters.
