A 30-year-old Piedmont resident had $2,300 stolen from him at Big Lot’s on McClellan Boulevard Tuesday afternoon, according to a police report.

Anniston police Sgt. Chris Sparks said the victim was carrying his money at the time of the incident. Sparks said that the man went to use the restroom and left the money in the lavatory by accident. Sparks said that when the victim returned the money was gone. Police had no suspects Wednesday morning, he said.
