It's time rate the campaign commercials. In this corner, we have 2010 candidate for Alabama Agriculture Commissioner, Dale Peterson. He lost the Republican primary and has hit an even rougher stretch of misfortune of late, but this commercial, which features a gun-toting Peterson, still packs a punch.

And in this corner is E.W. Jackson, the Virginia Republican Party's nominee for lieutenant governor. In 2012, Jackson ran and lost in a bid for a U.S. Senate seat representing Virginia. In an ad from last year's Senate race, Jackson puts an ax to work on a watermelon.

So, our question is which ad is better? A candidate for ag commissioner riding a horse? Or, a Virginian doing his best Gallagher impression?

DALE PETERSON

E.W. JACKSON

Which campaign ad is better?
