The Southern-style cooking guru who made racist remarks about blacks is sweating it out now, tearfully apologizing after many of her sponsors dropped her through whom she made millions. A little too late, it seems.

Her recipe with the generous helping of the N-word and a sprinkling of racial insensitivity, mixed with a stew of media frenzy, cost her a big reduction in ratings.

It will take a long time, if ever, to convince her previous buyers that she is truly sorry. Why would she disappoint the people who loved her cooking and bought many of her popular Paula Deen merchandise?

She hid her true face under a Jekyll-and-Hyde mask for years.

As her millions are going down the drain, maybe she wonders if she stepped out on the ice too far.
