One City, One Vision! Don’t you love it? We, the community of Anniston, are preparing a strategic plan for our Anniston! We no longer have to worry where we might end up; we will know where we are going.

How is this happening? After the “Listening Tours,” Mayor Vaughn Stewart and our City Council asked a committee of 30 citizens to meet over the summer and start opening doors within our community. These citizens are now asking you to continue this effort. Starting next week, kick-offs for us, the community public, will occur. All are 6 to 8 p.m. and located at the following:

Thursday, Sept. 12, Anniston City Meeting Center, 1615 Noble Street

Tuesday, Sept. 17, Hodges Recreation Center, 3125 Spring Valley Road

Thursday, Sept. 19, Carver Recreation Center, 720 West 14th Street

Mark your calendar for one and learn about the future of our Anniston.

We are listening. We are learning. We are doing. Together!
