The provisional (new member) class consists of 42 women, making it the largest provisional class since 2008.

These fantastic women have committed themselves to promoting volunteerism, developing women’s potential and improving their community through effective action and the leadership of trained volunteers.
As part of the League’s Adopt-A-School partnership, the 2013-2014 JLAC provisional class will help implement an anti-bullying program for fifth and sixth grade girls at Weaver Elementary School.
The Junior League is excited to have such amazing women joining in their focus area of “healthy lifestyle choices in children.”

Pass me a frosty mug, will ya? The ninth annual Autumn Suds-Fest — a beer-tasting, food-sampling event — is set for Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Berman Museum of World History. All access tickets are $35 for individual, $30 for member or $28 each when 10 or more are purchased at a time. Designated driver tickets (no bar access) are $20. Must be 21 to attend.
