Girl Scout troops 20015 and 20045 participated in the Weaver Station Heritage Days festival held recently at Elwell Park in Weaver. Some of the troop members displayed their earned badges and pictures of past outings. They promoted the Girl Scouts while giving out stickers and bracelets to interested girls.

The Boy Scouts of Weaver were also on hand at the festival to demonstrate their skills with a 25 foot long ‘monkey bridge’ consisting of three ropes suspended between two rustic braces. The bridge was tied by the scouts under the supervision of Scout Master Shannon Sullivan and his assistant Blake Tipton.
