It's been one year since Superstorm Sandy hit the U.S. East Coast and heavily damaged countless cities across the Eastern Seaboard. Stories of the October 2012 storm still resonate.

The editors at Propublica.org have compiled an online list of some of the best reporting on the storm and its aftermath. Culled from different sources, the Propublica list should serve as a reminder to those of us not affected by the storm that millions of people weren't so fortunate.
