Daniel Heard scored 26 points to lead Saks to a 72-71 road win over Jacksonville on Thursday.

Monty Young chipped in with 15 points and Darion Coleman added 13 for the Wildcats.

Cam Horton led Jacksonville with 34 points and three steals. Sid Thurmond added 25 points.

Jacksonville (6-8) travels to Cherokee County today.

Donoho 55, Faith Christian 43: Kevin Carr scored 15 points to lead Donoho to a road win.

Justin Foster added 13 points and 12 rebounds. Chris Carr finished with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Josiah McDaniel led Faith Christian with 17 points.

Donoho (9-1, 3-1 Class 1A, Area 12) travels to Fayetteville today.

Jacksonville 68, Saks 23:
Virginia Poe led all scorers with 20 points in a home win for the Lady Golden Eagles.

Dasia Kirksey added 17 points.

Faith Christian 44, Donoho 23: Madison Stephens led Faith Christian with 19 points as the Lions won on their home floor.

Sydney Nordan added 11 points and six rebounds and Madelyn Adams finished with 10 points and four steals.

Amanda Sherer led Donoho with 10 points.

Faith Christian (6-7, 4-2 Class 1A, Area 12) travels to Jefferson Christian on Tuesday.
