Bethany Keel, a senior at The Donoho School, recently represented Calhoun County, at the state level, in the Distinguished Young Women of Alabama program held in Montgomery. The participants competed for cash scholarships and in college granted scholarships. She won scholarship money from her chosen university as a result of her ACT score and her participation in the DYW at the local level. She is the daughter of Barry and Angie Keel of Anniston.
