Prep basketball roundup: Randolph County boys, Ranburne girls win

Elijah McFarland scored 15 points to help rally Randolph County past homestanding Woodland 46-44 on Tuesday night.

Randolph County trailed 24-19 at halftime.

Willis Knight added nine points, and Levi Phillips and Rico Nelson each had seven.

For Woodland, Tyler Gay scored 13 points.

Randolph County (8-8) will play at Lafayette on Thursday.

Girls

Ranburne 54, Wadley 19:
Jesse Ralston had 16 points to pace Ranburne to its 15th win of the year against only seven losses.

Alyssa Smith added 12 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four blocks. Indiana Morgan pitched in six points, eight steals and six assists.

Ranburne will play Woodland at home Friday.
