Shades Valley 45, Huntsville 42: The Mounties were able to overcome cold shooting in the first quarter and a comeback by Huntsville in the third to advance to next week's Class 6A girls Final Four for the first time since 1998.

Shades Valley also avenged a 14-point loss to Huntsville in last year's Northeast Regional final.

The Mounties were led by Morgan William, who scored 13 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Frantisha Tyson added nine points.

Shaquera Wade recorded a double-double for Huntsville, scoring 13 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Nakeia Burks added 12 points and recorded seven rebounds.

Friday's final came down to the wire. William gave Shades Valley a 43-41 lead with 1:02 left and extended the lead with two more free throws after cutting more than 30 seconds off the clock with fancy dribbling.
