The first annual 5K CRAP walk/run was held Oct. 5 in Piedmont with more than 140 participants signed up for the event. The proceeds will benefit the Venecia’s Foundation to help families and individuals who are affected by cancer. Participant Justin Owen finished the overall race/walk/wheel with the best time.

The 9-month-old son of Piedmont Police officer, Sheldon Estes and his wife Allison Estes, was the youngest participant who was wheeled in his stroller for the entire race.
