Alabama QB AJ McCarron a finalist for Walter Camp Player of the Year

TUSCALOOSA -- Alabama senior quarterback AJ McCarron was added as a finalist for the Walter Camp Player of the Year on Wednesday. 

McCarron has completed 67.6 percent of his passes (207-305) this season for 2,676 yards and 26 touchdowns to five interceptions. 

McCarron is one of five finalists joining Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M), Jameis Winston (Florida State), Jordan Lynch (Northern Illinois) and Andre Williams (Boston College). 

McCarron is now a finalist for the Maxwell Award, the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, the Davey O'Brien Award, the Manning Award, the Senior CLASS Award and the Walter Camp Player of the Year.
