Alabama practice report: LaMichael Fanning not seen with defensive end group again

TUSCALOOSA -- It was another beautiful day in Tuscaloosa as Alabama hit the practice field. Here are some takeaways: --Defensive end LaMichael Fanning was not seen with the defensive line group again today. Fanning hasn't been at practice during the media's viewing period all week. --True freshman running back Altee Tenpenny (turf toe) wore a black, non-contact jersey, but was back with the running back group. Tenpenny carried a ball and participated in drills. --Cornerback Bradley Sylve (high ankle sprain) wore a black, non-contact jersey. Sylve briefly stood near the defensive backs, but did not participate in drills. He worked off to the side with an athletic trainer. --Nose guard Brandon Ivory worked in the back of the line with the defensive line group. Ed Stinson, Darren Lake and Jeoffrey Pagan have led the group during practice this week. --Former Alabama players Jerrell Harris and Brandon Gibson watched practice. --NFL scouts from the Kansas City Chiefs, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans watched practice.
