TUSCALOOSA -- Alabama practiced in full pads for the final time before the big showdown with LSU on Saturday at 7 p.m. ESPN cameras were all over the place which lets you know this game is a big deal.
Here are some takeaways:
--Cornerback Bradley Sylve (ankle) was limping during drills and still favoring that left ankle. Sylve has participated all week, but clearly isn't at 100 percent.
--Cornerback Cyrus Jones worked at the No. 2 cornerback spot in individual drills.
--Cornerback Deion Belue (toe) ran well and showed no signs of being slowed by his injury. He should be a full go on Saturday.
--Defensive lineman Dakota Ball (foot) wore a black, non-contact jersey in his first day back at practice since breaking his foot in September.
--True freshman Alvin Kamara was not with the running back group during the media's viewing period.
--Defensive end LaMichael Fanning was not at practice. He's still suspended.
--Some more popular defensive scout team jerseys: No. 16 (DB Tre'Davious White), No. 26 (S Ronald Martin), No. 28 (CB Jalen Mills), No. 59 (DE Jermauria Rasco), and No. 90 (DT Anthony Johnson).
Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban and select players will speak to reporters following practice.
