Athens man accused of trafficking morphine, pot possession
An Athens man charged with trafficking morphine and possession of marijuana remained in the Limestone County Jail Wednesday waiting for bail to be set on the trafficking charge, an official said Wednesday.
Limestone County Sheriff’s Deputy Johnny Morell and Lt. Lance Royals received information that Thomas Bethel Roberts, 44, of 19941 Piney Chapel Road was growing marijuana at his home, Sheriff Mike Blakely said.
