The Calhoun County Career Technical Center’s Culinary Arts program recently created a ‘baskets of appreciation’ service project to honor Calhoun County first responders on the memorial of 9/11 as a way to thank the men and women protecting and serving our county. The students collected various non-perishable food items in order to create baskets of snacks for the Sheriff’s Department and the Jacksonville Fire Department.
