There seems to be a swirling mixture in Anniston of political excitement and uncertainty. We all, however, can be certain of one thing: Councilman Marcus Dunn always leaves a situation in much better condition than when he found it. The once dark, dilapidated and mold- and mildew-infested Carmike Theatre in Lenlock is a glowing example of that.

Councilman Dunn is a great man and leader. I have found him to be a truthful person who consistently conducts himself in an ethical and a professional manner. His objective point of view enables him to make prudent decisions that reap lasting positive results. His proven work ethic is unmatched and his confident, yet approachable, demeanor does not go unnoticed. His tenure on the Anniston City Council has been brief, but his tenure as an observable pillar in the Anniston community is longstanding.

As the elected councilman of Ward 4, he will continue to move Anniston forward. Please vote for Councilman Dunn on Aug. 28.
