Attention residents of Ward 4: Oct. 9 is a critical date to get out and vote again. Both runoff candidates for Ward 4 have made it clear that they will work in harmony with the other council members and mayor in order to effectively serve Anniston. However, Millie Harris has researched specific plans that can be considered as part of the overall strategy for the new council.

She will devote 100 percent of her energy to rebuilding our Model City. We have known Millie for more than 30 years, and she has proven herself not only to be a hard worker, but also to be ultra-successful in whatever she undertakes. Her involvement with animal welfare and her award as National Teacher of the Year are just two examples of Millie’s energy and dedication. Millie has a long list of academic achievements, she is articulate, and she will research each and every item that is presented to the council.

Our city needs Millie Harris’ leadership. Please support Millie and vote on Oct. 9.
