Please consider Millie Harris for Anniston’s Ward 4 City Council representative.

Millie has worked with the area high schools for several years to provide them with the opportunity to attend Knox Concert Series events at no charge. She has arranged for students to meet and speak with the conductors and musicians (often with a translator) before the concerts to answer any questions they might have about the music or the country they represent. She has written a grant that provided a visiting instructor for Anniston High School who came every week and worked with AHS students. She has been a tireless advocate for all students in Calhoun County, especially Anniston High School.

Millie will bring the same dedication and determination to the city of Anniston. She loves Anniston, has a physical, economical and an emotional stake here, and puts her beliefs into action. She will work persistently for the betterment of all of Anniston.
