The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Uzza Brook of Bowdon, and Jeanette Hill of Newell and the late Alvin Hill.
Miss Hill is a 2008 graduate of Bowdon High School. She is a recent graduate of the University of West Georgia College with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a coach at Bowdon Gymnastics.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late John and Dorothy Smith, formerly of Heflin; Greene and Juanita Spruill of Bowdon, Ga., and the late Wayne Gulledge, formerly of Glencoe. He is the step-grandson of Raymond and Margie McLarty of Villa Rica, Ga., and the late Gerald and Nellie Garner, formerly of Murray City, Ohio.
Mr. Spruill is a 2006 graduate of Woodland High School. He is employed at Pilgrim’s in Carrollton, Ga.
The wedding will be 2 p.m. June 2, 2012, at Corinth Baptist Church in Bowdon, Ga.
