The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Paul and Joyce Chambless of Sylacauga and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hughston.
Miss Hughston is a graduate of Cherokee County High School and Jacksonville State University. She is employed by Kmart in Centre.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Ila Cherry and the late Whit Cherry; the late Edward Angel Carrio; Bill Wood, Bonnie Quillan and the late Sarge Thomas and William and Pat Gay.
Mr. Cherry is a graduate of Hokes Bluff High School and Gadsden State Community College. He is employed by Gadsden Machine & Roll.
The wedding will be 2 p.m. April 14, 2012, at Tates Chapel Baptist Church in Centre.
