TUCSON, Ariz. — Jacksonville State outfielder Michael Bishop and closer Travis Stout were both named third team All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball magazine, the publication announced Thursday.

They were among six Ohio Valley Conference players named to the three teams. League champion Austin Peay had the other four.

Bishop, a first-team All-OVC pick, hit .340 with four homers and a team-leading 21 doubles. Stout, a second-team All-OVC pick, broke the single-season school record for saves (17) and set the school’s Division I single-season ERA record (1.42).
