Local scouts participate in Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America was held Dec. 14 at Fort McClellan Military Cemetery. The event included 46 Boy and Girl Scouts who supported this effort to honor America’s heroes.

The Boy Scouts of America Venture Crews are co-ed youth who are focused on high-adventure activities and helping others through service projects. Members of BSA Venture Crew 4009 who led the placing of the wreaths included, Tyler Mitchell, Kailee Peterson, Gregory Heathcock and Elizabeth New. Crew 9 is chartered and sponsored by St. Mark United Methodist Church in the Golden Springs Community.
