Wendy Feazell, a technician at Long Animal Clinic, has worked for Long for 15 years. She said she has always loved and enjoyed working with animals.
“We’re just like a big family here, and I think it shows in the care we give to our patients,” she said.
A small staff of eight employees provides quality pet care for the community as well as surrounding counties. Feazell said patients have traveled as far as Tennessee and Georgia to receive treatment for their pets.
“We truly care about the animals,” she said. “We try to give good, quality care at a price that’s reasonable and what people can actually afford.”
Long Animal Clinic performs various services for pets, including surgeries, yearly routines and vaccinations. The clinic also has a lot of boarding clientele, Feazell added.
Ensuring pet owners that their sick cat or dog will be taken care of can be challenging. And Feazell said the staff works hard to treat a lot of the sick animals they see daily. But she insisted customer service is their top priority, and their service keeps them at the forefront in Anniston.
“The hard work definitely pays off when the community appreciates you,” she said.
