A “Knit your Bit” project is an opportunity for you to knit or crochet a hat for troops stationed in Afghanistan. The project is sponsored by Yarns by HomePlace Farm in Jacksonville. The store has a free hat pattern you may use at https://www.facebook.com/YarnsbyHPF. Knitting Fever and Berroco Yarns have donated yarn for the cause. If you don’t knit or crochet, other ideas are posted on how you can help fill the care packages.
