Opelika burglary suspect entered by breaking through walls

Opelika police are investigating an incident in which a suspect burglarized several businesses along Pepperell Parkway by breaking through walls.

An employee at Be Be African Hair Braiding in the 3700 block of Pepperell Parkway called police between 10:15 and 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, when a suspect described as an unknown black male began punching a hole through the wall of the business, said Opelika police Capt. Allan Elkins.
