The couple celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary June 10 with their children at a brunch held at Classic on Noble.
Their children include Tom (Sandy) Plummer of Calhoun, Ga.; Sharon (Rev. Jim) Misner of Port Gibson, Miss.; Donna (Tony) Klabnik of Anniston and Peggy (Bill) Brockman of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
Eight of their 12 grandchildren at the celebration included Wendy Perry, Melissa Leedy, Bobby (Krisy) Plummer, Sarah (Dr. Mike) Atkinson, Josh (Deanna) Misner, Emily (Tim) Pennington, Amy (Danny) McKinney and Callie Gardiner.
Of their 21 great-grandchildren, those in attendance were Jake Plummer and Megan Reid, Adin Misner; Emma, Ben and Gracie Atkinson; Caroline, Sara Kate and McClain Misner and Michael, Sadie and MJ Pennington.
Jeanne’s niece, Jeanne (Tom) Shearer of Birmingham attended the event with traveling companions Joe and Janelle Cassidy, who also attended the celebration.
