Police: Man hospitalized after stabbing on McKleroy Avenue

One man was at Regional Medical Center late Saturday evening after being stabbed, Anniston police said. Officers responded to the stabbing call around 9:40 p.m. and found the man somewhere on McKleroy Avenue in Anniston, Sgt. Kevin Briley said.

The man’s injuries were not life-threatening, the sergeant said.

Details about the man’s identity, his assailant and the nature of the incident were scarce at 11 p.m. Saturday.

Briley said no arrests had been made but an investigation was underway.
