Prep basketball roundup: Donoho boys improve to 5-1; White Plains girls win again

Donoho’s Kevin Carr produced 23 points, eight assists and four rebounds in a 60-37 win over Faith Christian on Saturday.

Justin Foster added 17 points and eight rebounds. Parker Morgan contributed seven points and eight rebounds.

The Falcons (5-1) will play again Saturday at home against Wellborn.

Cleburne County 61, White Plains 52: Max Prichard scored 19 points to lead the Tigers to a victory on their home floor.

Matthew Morrow chipped in with 15 points for Cleburne County. Nathan Gilbert led White Plains with 21 points.

Cleburne County (3-4) will host Lincoln on Tuesday.

Girls

White Plains 36, Cleburne County 32:
White Plains improved to 9-1 with the win.

Taylor Snellgrove led the way with 14 points and four rebounds, while Shelby Wood contributed nine points, seven rebounds, five assists and four rebounds.

Amber Greenwood pitched in seven points and three assists.

For Cleburne County, Alyssa Norton scored 14 points.

White Plains will play at Saks on Tuesday.
