TALLADEGA — Rain forced cancellation of Thursday's qualifying for Friday's ARCA series International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250 at Talladega Superspeedway.

The starting grid will be determined by points, with Matt Lofton on the pole in the Strutmasters.com Chevy. Chris Buescher is on the outside of the front row in the Roulo Brothers Racing Ford.

Officials hold out hope for getting in ARCA and Nationwide Series practice sessions, but weather.com projects precipitation chances at 80 percent or higher through 6 p.m.
