Mike Almaroad is a man of belief and commitment. This combination provides his focus on education and his dedication to students, teachers and parents. As an experienced Calhoun County Board of Education member, he continues to support academic needs for all students, enables cutting-age technology for classroom learning, works to provide teachers with needed classroom resources, and openly communicates with parents, teachers and concerned community members.

Mike is a product of public education, as are his wife, their children and their grandchildren. As the recently retired Opportunity Center director and as a businessman, he recognizes the bigger picture — preparing Calhoun County students to successfully enter the work force, whether locally or globally.
