Too Nice to Slice is one of the few places in the area where you can find homemade fudge in a variety of flavors, as well as sugar-free cupcakes, brownies and cakes.
They also recently started selling red velvet cake ice cream, which has quickly become a popular item on the menu. Employees estimate the red velvet cupcakes are still their best-selling item. If all of that isn’t enough red velvet for you, they also sell red velvet brownies and red velvet cake.
Too Nice to Slice also offers custom cakes made to order. Party supplies may also be found in the store, from cards to candles.
For those just dropping in to satisfy a sweet craving, they have cheesecake, pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, muffins, fried pies and cream horns.
For those looking for variety, they have a multitude of cupcake flavors. Just some of the flavors include: Swiss mocha, banana pudding, Italian cream, butter pecan, chocolate with peanut butter, funfetti, Elvis and watermelon. Too Nice to Slice uses buttercream icing and cream cheese icing, depending on the flavor.
A creative sign in the window urges customers to “cool down with our summer sweets.” The letters in “summer” have flames; the letters in “cool” are covered with snow and the first “O” in “cool” is wearing green sunglasses. Customers would likely want to sample some of the many varieties of Blue Bell ice cream if they need to cool down.
