Anniston Star - Smith 60th anniversary

James and Mildred Smith of Ohatchee celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 22 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church. The event was hosted by their children.

Children and their spouses include Phyllis and Arnold Jones of Ohatchee; Sandy and Jimmy Fields of Oxford and James and Mary Ellen Smith of Winnabow, N.C., and the late Patricia Smith.

They have numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The couple was married Sept. 24, 1952, in Anniston.
