With Christmas approaching, let’s not forget the animals around the world. While we enjoy hearty Christmas dinners and count our blessings, many animals are suffering.

China has restaurants that offer cats and dogs on their menu. Unacceptable.

New Mexico and other states have slaughter houses for horses. Unacceptable.

Laboratory animals undergo barbaric experiments. Unacceptable.

Africa has extreme poaching for tusks and horns, driving wildlife to extinction. Unacceptable.

Gray wolves are being chased for miles and shot from helicopters. Unacceptable.

This is just a small list of animal abuse.

God has made everything for a purpose and they all deserve the right to exist in their own environment, undisturbed.

As people look into the glow of a flickering candle, the warmth of a fireplace and the multicolored rays coming from their Christmas tree, I hope love and understanding fills the hearts around the world for God’s beloved creatures who don’t have a voice and need help.

Please visit our shelters and give a dog or cat a loving home. God bless you.
