The annual Memorial Day Ceremony in Anniston’s Centennial Memorial Park will be at 11 a.m. on May 27.

This year’s ceremony will be packed with patriotism and music. At a time when our country is hurting, take a few minutes to come to the park and remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms.

The keynote speaker will be Rear Adm. (Ret.) W. Clyde Marsh, commissioner of Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs.

This event is open to the public and everyone is welcome.

Chapel Hill will be furnishing water. In case of rain, we will take cover in Fire Station No. 1. The Boy Scouts of America Venture Crew and Young Marines will be there to assist.

Please join us and show the families of those lost that we honor their losses.

There is plenty of parking on the north and south side of Centennial Memorial Park.

If you have any questions, please call me at 256-831-2838 or 256-239-9234.
