The Anniston Noon Rotary Club held a food drive on Nov. 3 at the Oxford and Jacksonville Wal-Marts and the Anniston and Jacksonville Winn-Dixies. Those cans that you threw into our basket and the dollars you stuffed into our jars made a difference.

As the result of your generosity, we were able to collect more than 800 pounds of food and more than $1,000 in cash. It has been delivered to the All Saints Interfaith Center of Concern, Community Enabler, Jacksonville Christian Outreach Center and the Soup Bowl of Anniston.

Thank you again for all of the generous contributions and a special thanks to the students of the International House of Jacksonville State, who helped collect contributions in Jacksonville.
