One day when I got home from Halloween night, I felt something was not right. I found popcorn in the microwave, and there was old candy on the table.

When I went to my mom's room to get the dirty clothes into the wash, the TV was on, and mom is always onto me about that. Something was weird. And so I went downstairs and the old candy was gone! I went to get some candy from my room.

I called mom to see when she was going to get back from her vacation and she said not until next week, so I was stuck in our house. That was freaking me out.

Dad was home; he was in the basement. I asked him if he turned the TV on in mom's room, and she said that it is an old TV so it probably turned on by itself.

I told him about the old candy, and he said he had it in his pocket. He ate some and gave some to me. All of a sudden our bodies broke out in bumps, all over!!

We took some medicine and we heard someone saying, “Why did you eat that candy?" We didn't know where that voice came from. We checked all around the house, and couldn't find anything!!

We reached for another piece of candy, and it started walking.

That episode scared us so bad that we moved out.
