The Alabama softball team had four players named to the 2013 Easton Fastpitch all-American team, the organization announced Tuesday. Senior Kayla Braud, junior Jackie Traina and the freshmen Andrea Hawkins and Haylie McCleney were all named to the first team.

Braud earned the honor for the third time in her career. In her final year with the Crimson Tide, Braud ranked third in the nation with a .471 batting average and 90 hits. She also scored 65 runs and 38 stolen bases. Braud was a career .438 hitter, breaking the Alabama career record held by Kelly Kretschman.

Traina, who posted a 19-8 record with a 2.49 ERA, earned All-American honors for the third straight season. The right-handed ace struck out 214, while also hitting 13 home runs and 45 RBIs.

Hawkins scored 24 runs, stole 13 bases in 15 attempts and had 38 hits.

McCleney led the team with 68 runs and 14 doubles. She had 86 hits.
