Trussville booms, growing 54 percent in 10 years

Trussville posted another jaw-dropping decade of growth, ballooning by 54 percent over the last decade, according to 2010 U.S. Census figures released today.

Trussville's population stood at 19,933 in 2010, up from 12,924 a decade earlier. The city grew by 7,009 residents, fueled by residential development that carried over from the previous decade.
